I wanted to do an overall update on the family to keep everyone informed. Dirk is in school again, so is definitely keeping busy. He was also just released from the Primary and is now the building cleaning coordinator. This calling is perfect for the amount of time Dirk has. Dirk and I are still trying to sell our car. So if you know anyone who is looking for a good reliable car give us a call. I have 2 and a half days left of babysitting! Yay! I will finally be able to catch up on the cleaning and organizing of our extremely cluttered house. I keep too many things and collect more. I am sure it drives Dirk nuts, so it is a good thing he loves me! Also when I am done babysitting I plan on starting a diet and a regular exercise routine. I am telling everyone this in hopes that I will do well so I can show the results. I figured if I kept it to myself it would be easier to quick, cuz no one would know I started. Now who ever reads this will have to keep tabs on me and ask if I am keeping it up. Maybe then I will be able to. Anyway, as I wrote before, Landon is now potty trained! He is kind of growing, but very slowly. I think he is about 44 or 45 months old (3 1/2 yrs) but he is still wearing some clothes as small as 18 months. In fact his 18 month pants have to be worn with a belt. It is pretty silly, but he can wear 3T shirts just his pants have to be smaller. He is pretty small, I wonder where he got that from? ;) He loves to watch movies and play with friends. Kyle is crawling now and gets into everything! He also sticks anything he can find in his mouth. He loves to eat noodles and crackers. I can barely get him to eat baby food any more. He still has no teeth so I am very limited on what I can feed him. Although he has been really fussy lately so maybe he is teething. He says mom and dada, but mostly dada. He loves the camera! As soon as he sees it he smiles real big and waits to see his picture when you are done. Well this is long enough so no more for now.

HURRAY FOR LANDON!!
Landon is finally potty trained! It has been a few weeks really, but I didn't want to blog about it until I was sure he wasn't going to go back. Than again that is still a possibility but I'll keep my fingers crossed. After trying forever to get him to potty train with stickers, or potty presents and other forms of bribery; I finally gave in to the potty treats idea. I didn't want to but that is what did the trick. I think he is now officially potty trained because last night at 2am Landon came in and tapped me on the shoulder, "Mom, I gotta go to the bathroom and I need your help." Usually he goes all night without needing to go, but if he doesn't have to go when it is time for bed then he usually doesn't go until the morning. He is really good about not waiting until the last minute so he doesn't have accidents. I say that because sometimes while he is going if he moves, even slightly, he misses the toilet. So in a way he has accidents they are just different. He has been able to go to bed with underwear since he started going on the potty. I am sooooo excited that I now only have one child in diapers. Yay for Landon!

The Dinosaur Park
Last Saturday we took the boys to the Dinosaur Park. Landon loved it! He kept asking where the real ones were. I tired to explain that there weren't any real ones, so he said he wanted to see the pretend ones. They actually had some moving ones that were very realistic. In fact a kid in front of us started screaming and he was 5 years old. It was pretty funny. I don't think Landon got scared at all. There is a museum inside and then dinosuar replicas outside. It was like a big park. There was even an excavation sight where the kids used paint brushes to uncover dinosaur remains. It was neat! Well, here are a few pictures. Enjoy!

Finally, I started a blog!
Well, I guess it took me long enough, but I finally have started a blog. I decided it was the best way to keep family updated on our family. It is especially for grandparents who live so far away. I don't want them to miss out on the boys lives just because we can't visit often. The boys are both so young and they are changing every day! I cannot promise to have it updated daily or weekly, but I shouldn't have a problem with monthly. I figured anything was better than nothing right? Well, I will try and post something else soon! Love you all!
